Enamel Pins are a popular way to express yourself, whether you design them yourself or covering your backpack and jean jacket with the original designs. Pins can tell powerful stories. They can be beautiful, make us laugh, remind us of our favorite things, or challenge the way we look at the world.

There’s a lot happening in this creative space, which inspired journalist and pin enthusiast Caitlin M.F. Hornshaw to create a space designed specifically for the artists and collectors that make up the enamel pin community.

For The Share of Flair aims to deliver high-quality, engaging news content via print, social and video platforms.

My mission of For The Share of Flair is to be the most accurate, most thorough and most interesting source of news for the enamel pin community.

The principles for operation are:
-To assertively seek content that has high interest, impacts the reader, provokes discussion and advances the reader’s knowledge about the pin community and industry.
-To react quickly to any newsworthy events.
-To create content that is a reflection of the diversity of the backgrounds, goals and interests of the community and the readers.
-To consistently adhere to the code of journalistic ethics (I go by the standards of the Society of Professional Journalists) and foster the most professional environment possible at all levels.

FTSOF is still a work in progress. Keep checking back here for updates.
